Established in 1968, Sebamed started in 1968 with the cleansing bar. It was inspired by Dr. Heinz Maurer’s experience in finding an alternative to soap suitable for skin disease patients. Thirty years after, the brand has focused in medicinal skin care optimized for people suffering from certain skin conditions. These soap free wash products are beneficial for inherently cleansing the body. What’s more, they are specially designed to deliver the best possible skin care minus side effects that can affect normal physiological functions of the skin.

Sebamed shampoo, sebamed soap and sebamed products are considered as the best moisturizer for dry skin. Additionally, the brand seeks ‘quality through research.’ Dermatologists and pharmacists alike recommend the brand for its innovation in skin care which maintains healthy skin and prevents the spread of skin diseases through hygienic functions.

Garnering the Heinz-Maurer-Award for Dermatology research, Seba med makes careful considerations of the skin’s pH-balanced condition. Backed by over 120 scientific research studies, the brand reaffirms skin care with its top and active ingredients nourishing the naturally acidic dermal layers. Sebamed remain exceptional in delivering formulations suitable for pH 5.5 healthy skin.
