How to take Ginsana capsules
Adults take two capsules with breakfast, or one with breakfast and one with lunch, or as recommended by your doctor or health care professional. A usual course of treatment lasts 8 to 12 weeks.

Each Ginsana soft capsule contains:
Panax ginseng extract, equivalent to dry root 212.5 mg
(Standardised to ginsenosides 4 mg)

Before you use Ginsana capsules
Ginsana capsules contain soya and should not be taken by patients known to be allergic to soya. As there is a possible relationship between allergy to soya and allergy to peanut, patients with peanut allergy should also avoid taking Ginsana capsules.

Ginsana capsules are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Panax ginseng and any of the ingredients in the product. (Ethylvanillin and other inactive ingredients).

Ginsana capsules contain lactose and are not recommended for those who are lactose intolerant. Ginsana capsules are not recommended for children.

 

Pregnancy and lactation
As controlled studies with pregnant women are not available, Ginsana capsules are not recommended for use during pregnancy and lactation.
