Symphony RevolutionPRO™ Prostate Health features MacaFlow®, a proprietary blend of organic maca (Lepidium peruvianum) phenotypes grown and processed to maximize the bioactive compounds most relevant to prostate health.
While most data on maca and prostate health have historically featured red maca, breakthrough preclinical research has now identified two targeted maca phenotypes for efficacy: red maca and black maca. These two specific phenotypes of maca were selected for their unique and complementary antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and cellular support potential, alongside USPlus® saw palmetto extract. Furthermore, the maca phenotypes in MacaFlow® are cultivated and grown in a specific region of Peru and dried using traditional methods to preserve therapeutic actives.
To complement the actives in MacaFlow®, a saw palmetto extract is also included. It is produced using supercritical CO₂ extraction and standardized to 85–95% fatty acids. Prostate health: It maintains healthy activity of 5α-reductase enzymes 1 and 2 to promote normal levels of dihydrotestosterone (DHT). When imbalanced, these enzymes promote the conversion of testosterone into DHT, which may contribute to prostate dysfunction.
