MitoQ 20mg, MitoQ®(mitoquinol mesylate) is a mitochondrial-targeted and highly bioavailable form of CoQ10 (ubiquinol), which reaches peak plasma levels within 1 hour and is quickly absorbed into cells and extensively taken up into mitochondria.
Unlike regular CoQ10, pharmacokinetic testing of MitoQ® has revealed that its absorption is significantly reduced by administration with food. Therefore, it is recommended that MitoQ® be taken on an empty stomach first thing in the morning with a glass of water.
Directions
Take one capsule each morning with water before food or as directed by your physician.

Warnings
MitoQ® is not recommended for patients receiving cancer chemotherapy, those who have recently undergone organ transplantation, or for pregnant or breast feeding mothers. MitoQ® is recommended for adults only.
MitoQ® is generally very well tolerated but rare side effects include: mild nausea or GI upset and mild stimulant effects. If such effects are noted, it is recommended to reduce the dose and stop the use of MitoQ® if these symptoms persist.
