    Active Ingredients

    Clinicians PregaVit maximizes nutrient content with each capsule. It goes with a very comprehensive range of vitamins including A (retinol), B1 (thiamine), B2 (riboflavin), B3 (nicotinamide), B5 (pantothenate), B12 (cyanocobalamin), C (calcium ascorbate), D3 (cholecalciferol) and E (tocopherol).
    In addition, it contains the minerals calcium, chromium, copper, iodine, manganese, magnesium, selenium and zinc. Biotin, rutin and folic acid are also present. Rutin is a bioflavonoid that assists strengthened capillaries and improved circulation during pregnancy. Chromium then helps maintain balanced serum glucose levels. Iodine, selenium and folic acid are all very important for the fetus or baby’s physical and mental development.

    Pregnancy and Breast Feeding:
    This product contains the Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) for Vitamin A during pregnancy (2566 IU or 770mcg/day). Total Vitamin A intake from dietary and supplemental sources should not exceed 4 times the RDA (10,000 IU or 3000 mcg/day). Therefore women should not consume more than 10,000 IU of vitamin A per day during pregnancy as amounts above this level have been shown (especially during the first seven weeks of pregnancy) to cause birth defects in approximately 2% of pregnant women.
