NICORETTE® Gum is an enjoyable and flavorful way of quitting smoking. It alleviates your addiction and relieves your anxiety whenever you stay away from cigarettes. What's more, it packs two strengths, 2 mg and 4 mg to individually address your smoking practice. As the tagline says, Double Your Chances of Quitting™

NICORETTE® Gum lets you take your pick from its wide array of sugar-free flavours. There is Mint® to give you a refreshing and cooling breath, as well as the traditionally tried-and-tested Original. It's a must-have nicotine gum for any smoker who wishes to stop smoking. Other flavours made available are: White Ice Mint, Cinnamon Surge, Fruit Chill, and Fresh Mint.

NICORETTE® Gum is available in two strengths:

    • 2 mg – Use if you usually smoke about 30 minutes after you wake up.
    • 4 mg – Use if you usually smoke within 30 minutes after you wake up.

To use the gum, you can follow the 9-12-15 rule to increase your chances of quitting smoking. Remember to chew 9 pieces of NICORETTE® Gum on a daily basis for the first six weeks. Then, follow the 12 week quitting program. Finally, refrain from eating or drinking 15 minutes prior to or while chewing the gum.

Additionally, you can adopt the chew and park method. Once a tingling sensation is felt inside your mouth, do park the gum and stop chewing. Let the gum stay inside your cheek until the tingling feeling stops. Once it subsides, continue chewing.

How many pieces of gum do I use?
    1. Stopping immediately
During weeks 1-12, 1 piece when you have an urge to smoke or every 1-2 hours. Do not use more than 20 pieces per day. After 12 weeks, gradually reduce to 1-2 pieces a day and then stop use.

    2. Cutting down
Gradually increase gum use (maximum 20 pieces/day) for us to 6 months, while cutting down smoking. *Stop smoking altogether when ready. *Continue to use gum as per "1. Stopping immediately". If you have not cut down in 6 weeks or quit smoking after 9 months, see your doctor/pharmacist.

Use in Adolescents under professional supervision only.

Contains xylitol (0.31g per piece of gum). Products containing xylitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea. Does not contain lactose, sucrose, saccharin, aspartame or gluten.
