Echinamide® is a low-alcohol, proprietary fresh plant extract, made from the organic flowering tops and root of Echinacea purpurea. Echinamide® has been clinically demonstrated to assist in the reduction of symptom severity and duration of colds and mild upper respiratory tract infections.
* Contains standardised ratios of three active constituents: alkylamides, polysaccharides and cichoric acid.
* Early intervention with Echinamide® reduces the overall severity and duration of symptoms associated with the common cold and upper respiratory tract infections including nasal discharge and congestion, sore throat and fatigue.
* Echinamide® provides support for healthy immune system activity by increasing leukocyte, neutrophil and monocyte levels.
Day one: Take 10mL dose four times daily. Water or juice may be added (top up to 30mL level on the measuring cup provided).
Days two to seven: Take 8mL dose twice daily. Immune function support: Take 2mL twice daily or as recommended by your healthcare practitioner.
* These dosage guidelines are based on the results from randomised double-blind placebo-controlled clinical trials on Echinamide® which support its role in the treatment of colds and upper respiratory tract infections.
* The clinical trials indicate that Echinamide® is most efficacious when taken at the recommended dosage at the first sign of cold symptoms such as nasal congestion and sore throat.
For children's dosages, please refer to the Children's Dosage Guidelines.
