ChondroCare® Excel provides a powerful combination of three fundamental joint nutrients—glucosamine sulfate, chondroitin sulfate and methylsulfonylmethane (MSM)—together with vitamin C and trace minerals to support the maintenance of healthy joint structure and function.
Key Benefits:
- Glucosamine sulfate and chondroitin sulfate play key roles in the synthesis of the structural components of the joint matrix. They provide nutritional support for the repair of joints and cartilage.
- Glucosamine sulfate and chondroitin sulfate may provide symptomatic relief of joint pain and functional limitation associated with mild to moderate osteoarthritis of the knee.
- Chondroitin sulfate helps to reduce swelling associated with mild to moderate arthritis.
- MSM is a natural source of sulfur which is required for healthy cartilage, tendons and ligaments, as well as in the formation of the antioxidant compounds N-acetylcysteine and glutathione.
- Features vitamin C and mineral cofactors, providing nutritional support for bone mineralisation and healthy connective tissue.
Product Information:
- The use of glucosamine sulfate, chondroitin sulfate and MSM during pregnancy and lactation has not been scientifically evaluated.
- Contains potassium. If you have kidney disease or are taking heart or blood pressure medications – consult your pharmacist or doctor before use.
- Vitamin supplements should not replace a balanced diet.
- If symptoms persist, consult your healthcare practitioner.
- Contraindicated in patients with shellfish allergy.
- Contraindicated in Wilson’s disease due to copper content.
- The evidence suggests that glucosamine has no significant effect on blood glucose levels when given to patients, with or without type 2 diabetes, for up to three years. However, diabetic patients are advised to continue their regular monitoring of blood glucose levels when taking glucosamine.
- No signs of toxicity have been observed after oral administration of chondroitin. Dosages of up to 10g daily for up to six years have not been associated with adverse effects.
- Research indicates that long-term intake of MSM at doses greater than 2g daily has no adverse effects.
