Dosage
Chew or suck 2 to 4 tablets three or four times daily preferably between meals and at bedtime or as instructed by a doctor.

Purpose/Usage
Mylanta Antacid tablets are used for the effective relief from indigestion, upset stomach, heartburn, flatulence and wind pain.
Mylanta also contains Simethicone which disperses the accumulated gas that often causes indigestion and stomach pains.
Precautions
Consult your doctor:
if you have been taking Mylanta continuously for 14 days;
if symptoms include vomiting, blood or coffee grain like material in faeces;
before use in children under 12 years of age;
before use if you have kidney disease.
Common Side Effects:
Occasionally constipation or diarrhoea have been reported, but usually only during high dose therapy. In this circumstance, a small reduction in dosage may often alleviate these symptoms.
Interactions With Other Medicines:
Do not take Mylanta within two hours of taking any medication for heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, epilepsy, arthritis, gout, bacterial or fungal infection. Mylanta can reduce the effectiveness of these medications.
If pregnant, do not exceed the recommended dose unless under medical supervision.
