Purpose/Usage
In Preparation for pregnancy, during pregnancy and throughout lactation the need for vitamins and minerals increases greatly. Elevit is formulated to provide the correct levels of vitamins and minerals to meet the increased needs of the mother-to-be and to provide her growing baby with the best possible conditions and nourishment throughout its whole development - from conception, through pregnancy and on to breastfeeding. Elevit will also assist in the prevention of iron and folic acid anaemia. When taken in the early stage of pregnancy, Elevit has been shown in clinical trials to be beneficial in pregnancy and reduce the likelihood of neural tube defects in the developing foetus.

Elevit has been proven to prevent birth defects like spina bifida.1-3 It's best to take Elevit at least one month prior to conception, although it has benefits throughout the nine months of pregnancy and right through to breast feeding.

Precautions
Elevit is a high dose supplement and other vitamin and mineral products should not be taken while Elevit is being used.
