Purpose/Usage
Clinicians PregaVit provides essential nutrients needed for the health of the mother and developing foetus during pregnancy. The vitamin, mineral and cofactor combination provide a balanced nutrient replacement for pre-conception, pregnancy and post-natal health. The low content of Vitamin A in this product is a safe amount for pregnancy, and will provide enough retinoic acid to aid foetal lung development. PregaVit does not contain iron. Iron levels should be tested during pregnancy and supplementation with Clinicians FerroCarb Plus iron capsules may assist in stabilising blood iron levels. The amount of Folic Acid per dose in this product is in accordance with the regulations governing dietary supplements in New Zealand. Additional supplementation may be needed.
