There is increasing concern in the clinical environment over the handling of mercury spills and maintenance of equipment containing mercury. Worldwide regulation to reduce release of harmful material into the environment, including mercury has hastened the imminent need for accurate mercury-free blood pressure meters.
1. Accuracy and Precision
The OMRON HEM-907 complies with AAMI standards for accuracy in automatic blood pressure measurement. Based on advanced oscillometric measurement method and enhanced with Omron’s fuzzy logic technology the monitor provides easy and accurate blood pressure readings at all times. 2. Easy to operate
Using advanced fuzzy logic technology, the HEM-907 can determine ideal cuff inflation level based on patient arm size and blood pressure fluctuation. The OMRON HEM-907 deflation speed is also automatically optimized. To measure from arm circumferences of 17 to 42 cm, S, M, and L sizes of cuffs are available. The simple push button operation on OMRON HEM-907 also makes training of clinical staff fast and easy.
3. Dual Measurement Mode
With OMRON HEM-907 The user can choose from two measurement modes. One is the oscillometric measurement method (AUTO Mode) and the other is auscultation method, using stethoscope (MANU Mode)
Auto Mode (Automatic Oscillometric)
OMRON HEM-907 Cuff is automatically inflated to the optimal pressure according to each patient’s condition. In this mode, you can select the following:
-Number of consecutive measurements (1,2, or 3 times)
-View average measurement reading
-Waiting time before start of measurement (Immediate, 3, 5, or 10 minutes)
-Interval time between measurement (5 or 30 seconds, 1, 2, or 3 minutes)
MANU Mode (Auscultation Method)
OMRON HEM-907 can measure blood pressure with the use of a stethoscope. The unit inflates and deflates the cuff automatically, then displays the pressure values. The pulse rate can be synchronized with the pressure as it is digitally displayed.
