Dosage
Every 4 hours orally when necessary:
Adults and children 12 and over: 10 to 20ml
Children 6 to 12 yrs: 5 to 10ml
Children 2 to 6 yrs: 2.5 to 5ml.
Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
Should not be used in children under 2yrs.
Ingredients
Each 10ml contains: Guaiphenesin 200mg.
Purpose/Usage
For chesty coughs. Helps loosen and clear chest congestion. Non-drowsy, sugar-free formula for the whole family.
Robitussin EX provides symptomatic relief from the family's congested chests and coughs due to the common cold. It contains the expectorant Guaiphenesin, which increases the flow of natural secretions along the lower respiratory tract.
This liquifying effect helps to break up a cough - helps loosen congestion so you can cough it up and get it off your chest.
Precautions
If cough persists for more than one week, tends to reoccur, or is accompanied by fever, rash or a persistant headache, consult a doctor.
If you have a perisistant cough such as what occurs with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, or cough accompanied by exceessive phlegm, consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product.
