Ingredients
Diflucan 150mg
Purpose/Usage
Treating thrush is now as simple as one capsule once, taken by mouth!
Diflucan One is an oral capsule, taken by mouth, with or without food at any time of day
It can be taken at the first sign of symptoms and there is no need to wait until bedtime to treat
It can also be used with diaphragms and condoms, unlike topical treatments, which reduce effectiveness and safety
Fluconazole inhibits CYP2C, and to a lesser extent 3A isoforms, and thus may affect the metabolism of other drugs. In vitro studies demonstrate that the extent of inhibition of 3A isoforms is lowest with fluconazole when compared with ketoconazole and itraconazole.
Phenytoin, sulphonylureas, cyclosporin, warfarin, theophylline - Levels may be increased by concomitant administration with fluconazole.
Cisapride - use of cisapride with fluconazole is contraindicated due to the risk of cardiac events
Rifamycin - fluconazole levels may be reduced, rifamycin levels may be increased
Celecoxib, parecoxib - levels may be increased by concomitant administration with fluconazole.
