Dosage
For allergic disorders: 2-5 years; 5-15ml at night, OR, 5ml 2-3 times daily. 6-12 years; 10-25ml at night, OR, 10ml 2-3 times daily.
For Sedation: 2-5 years; 5-15ml at night. 6-12 years; 10-25ml at night. For short term use for sedation, on the advice of a doctor or pharmacist. Do not use for more than 7-10 consecutive days.
Can also be used for Travel sickness and Nausea.
Ingredients
Each 5ml contains Promethazine Hydrochloride BP 5mg.
Purpose/Usage
Phenergan is a long-acting antihistamine which can be used to relieve symptoms of allergic disorders including hayfever, allergic rhinitis, urticaria (hives), and allergic reactions to insect bites and stings. Also can be used for the prevention and treatment of travel sickness.
Precautions
Phenergan Elixir may cause drowsiness. If affected do not drive a vehicle or operate machinery. Avoid alcohol.
This product should not be used in children under 2 years of age.
