Recommended Dosage (application instructions):
1. Cleanzit Antibacterial Cleanser: Lather with water, then apply to the face and massage with fingertips. Wash off with warm water to
leave skin clean and oil free. For best results, use twice daily and follow with Cleanzit Antibacterial Solution and Moisturiser.
2. Cleanzit Antibacterial Solution: Shake solution immediately before use. Apply a thin layer twice daily to problem areas of the skin
after cleansing with Cleanzit Antibacterial Cleanser. For best results, follow with Cleanzit Antibacterial Moisturiser.
3. Cleanzit Antibacterial Moisturiser: Apply evenly to face and massage gently into the skin. For best results, use twice daily after using
Cleanzit Antibacterial Cleanser and Solution. Cleanzit Antibacterial Moisturiser will balance the skin pH level to leave skin feeling softer.

decyl glucoside, glucose oxidase and lactoperoxidase, hemp oil, carbomer, xanthan gum, Totarol™ active, sunflower seed oil, manuka
honey, kumarahou extract, pomaderris extract, perfume, vitamin E, aloe vera, manuka oil, vitamin A (retinoic acid).
Cleanzit Antibacterial Solution: Ethanol, glycerine, Totarol™ active, octyl gallate, water, colour.
Cleanzit Antibacterial Moisturiser: Water, emulsifying wax, caprylic
Purpose/Usage
Cleanzit Antibacterial Cleanser helps to clear away dead skin.
Cleanzit Antibacterial Solution works to prevent pimples by fighting bacteria.
Cleanzit Antibacterial Moisturiser helps balance the pH of the skin while softening its texture.
All three products contain New Zealand Totarol™™ a natural antimicrobial agent that kills the bacteria that causes blemishes
Totarol™ is a natural extract derived from the heartwood of the totara tree (Podocarpus totara). It has also been found in a
number of other plants including cypress, juniper, thuja, rosemary and rimu. The totara is unique to New Zealand and these
trees can live for up to 1000 years. The timber is renowned for its resistance to rotting and as such was historically used to
make wharf piles, fence posts and for house construction. Maori have long revered totara as a symbol of strength and used the
wood for canoe-making due to its length, durability and lightness. It is the Totarol™ and related compounds that protect the
tree from microbial attack. The Totarol™ used to manufacture the Cleanzit range is extracted from recycled totara and thus
negates the need to cut down live trees. A novel, patented extraction process has been developed to ensure only the highest
possible quality of Totarol™ extract is obtained that is free of any solvent residues, artifacts or oxidation products.
The Totarol™ extract in the Cleanzit range has potent antibacterial activity making it the natural substance of choice to keep
blemished skin free of bacteria. Totarol™ has also been shown to be more effective and at much lower concentrations than Tea
Tree Oil, a natural broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent.

FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY. KEEP OUT OR REACH OF CHILDREN. Store in a cool place below 25°C.
Precautions and Contraindications: Keep away from eyes. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. This product is not suitable for
use on young children.
Side Effects: No side effects were demonstrated in a study of 50 male and female human subjects. Candidates were subject to
repeated applications 0.05% w/v of Totarol™ for 21 days following an initial induction patch test. No adverse reactions were noted during
the entire course of the study.
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Avoid during pregnancy and lactation as to date studies have not been performed to attest its safety in this cohort.
