Purpose/Usage
Kordel?s Super Co-Enzyme Q10 30mg combines CoQ10 (Ubiquinone)(Ubidecarenone) in a base of Evening Primrose Oil and Salmon Oil to maximise absorption and utilisation of this important naturally-occurring molecule. Co-enzyme Q10 is found in all cells and muscles and is essential for the formation of ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate).
Co-Enzyme Q10 is needed for muscle activity and is used by some athletes to help them perform at their peak. It helps in the maintenance of peripheral circulation and acts as a free radical scavenger and antioxidant. When taken regularly it may help to improve general wellbeing and maintain healthy gums.
Adverse Effects
CoQ10 is generally well tolerated and no serious adverse effects have been reported even during long term use.
CoQ10 should not be used during pregnancy or lactation because its safety during these periods has not yet been established.
CoQ10 is contraindicated in cases of known hypersensitivity.
Avoid use while on Warfarin therapy except under medical direction.
Response to CoQ10 should not be expected for at least eight weeks after beginning supplementation, because the synthesis of new CoQ10-dependent enzymes is a slow process.
